A new Software Test Analyst position has become available within a Technology business in Bristol.
The role will be a mix on manual and automation testing, across multiple technology platforms and software products. You will be heavily involved in project work, working with Agile Scrum delivery teams with like-minded technology driving individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating within sprint teams and with the wider QA team to define test approaches for features and applications.
- Actively participating in sprint ceremonies: daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint review & retrospective and backlog refinement meetings.
- Identifying acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional behaviours.
- Identifying when features do not meet expected behaviour and explaining your observation to the team, including Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts and other QA.
Software Test Analyst Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Software Testing
- Experience in manual and automation testing
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Practical knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience of automation frameworks using the following would be beneficial:
- Selenium, C#, SpecFlow, Gherkin, Cucumber, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git Hub.
Qualifications
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (or equivalent).
