    Science Based Targets Initiative

Certifying our targets, we are one of the first recruitment businesses in the UK to join the SBTi, leading the way in environmentally conscious companies.

    Reducing Emissions

We've adopted emissions reducing strategies such as switching to 100% renewables, sustainable food options and promoting low emission transport options.

Planting Trees with Ecologi

We have combined our reduction strategy with proactive support for reforestation through our partnership agreement with Ecologi where we commit to plant a tree for every hire that we make for our clients.

As a result of our performance since January 2022, Sanderson have funded and planted over 16,000 trees and counting.

"One of the things I love most about Sanderson is that we are a business built on integrity. Our people, service and decision making demonstrate this every day and our commitment to do the right thing extends to the approach we take to our environmental impact. This is why we were one of the first recruitment companies in the UK to be approved and signed up to the Science Based Targets initiative.”
Elizabeth Hawkins, Operations & Implementation Director

Community

At the heart of it, we’re a business that helps to connect people with the opportunity to perform meaningful work. A responsibility we’re proud of, have a look at some of the ways we’re supporting our communities:

Employee

Sanderson has always invested in our people. Our staff are the heart and personality of everything we do, and we take everyone’s journey personally. We are committed to nurturing an environment where every individual can grow and achieve their full potential.

Fast Payer Awards

In 2023, we were proud to have been awarded the Fast Payers Award from Good Business Pays CIC.

This means that we’re in the top 6% of reporting companies to pay suppliers in 27 days or less.

Given how turbulent the business world has been in the last few years, Sanderson takes immense pride in continuing to be included in the Fast Payer Awards. Our suppliers are integral to our continued success, and we must ensure that we treat them as genuine business partners by paying purchase invoices on time, every time.”
