Inclusive Hiring

Inclusive hiring is central to how we operate at Sanderson and our commitment to delivering high-quality client and candidate experiences.

That’s why, in early 2026, we undertook the Talent Spaces Inclusive Hiring Certification, an independent assessment designed to evaluate how effectively inclusive hiring is embedded across our organisation.

We were delighted to be awarded with a ‘Confident’ certification level.

What is the
Inclusive Hiring Certification?

The Talent Spaces Inclusive Hiring Certification framework brings together academic research, regulatory guidance and recognised industry best practice into a structured model. Organisations are then assessed across six stages of the recruitment lifecycle and awarded one of three maturity levels: Committed, Confident or Leader.

Inclusive hiring within this framework is defined as the deliberate design of recruitment processes to minimise bias, widen access to opportunity and support fair, defensible decision making.

The assessment process included:

Review of our recruitment policies, job advertising, learning materials and supporting documentation

Why did we undertake this certification?

The assessment confirmed that inclusive hiring at Sanderson is not treated as a compliance exercise, but as a core component of high-quality recruitment.
