Business Development Executive
£30,000 to £35,000 base + £10,000 OTE
Chippenham, Wiltshire (3 days a month in office)
Our client, a growing technology firm, are looking to hire a Business Development Executive to build customer awareness, advocacy and satisfaction for their innovative transport software product.
It's an extremely interesting and positive product that you'll be selling.
The products aim is improving safety for children in an affordable way for their parents. They've had huge success and are growing rapidly - but want to continue this business development.
What You'll Do
- Find new opportunities and clients in the public sector
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts
- Manage and close sales opportunities on a consistent basis
- Support bid management team where required
- Build solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Maintain accurate records of your activities on the Salesforce CRM
- Work closely with the account management, customer care and marketing teams
What We're Looking For
- Degree or equivalent a relevant discipline preferred, or appropriate industry experience
- Track record of success as part of a sales or marketing team
- Strong outbound B2B telephone sales skills
- Customer focused, with excellent customer service skills
- Experience of working with public sector clients in a client-facing role would be advantageous
- Experience with a modern CRM system would be a bonus
