In the UK, they are one of the market leaders in both direct insurance and price comparison but have also recently diversified into a number of new areas such as Loans, Travel and the Sharing Economy.
Against a backdrop of growth and diversification, Admiral was looking for a Chief Digital Officer to realise its stated ambition of becoming a digital leader within financial services and own the digital business P&L.
With the relative immaturity of digital in the Insurance sector, we designed and delivered bespoke research investigating all consumer regulated industries with high digital enablement. The target businesses were thoroughly investigated for the relevant talent.
Prospects were engaged with a compelling and personalised proposition. Once objective suitability had been established, candidate capabilities, subjective qualities, potential and motivations were all assessed with the best in market shortlisted.
Admiral successfully secured their first choice candidate with substantial digital business leadership expertise from outside of Insurance. In addition, due to the way we shaped the process, the Admiral leadership team were able to gain excellent insights from across industry in how they maximise and transform their own Digital potential.
