Copywriter / Content Writer

£300 - £325 a day via Umbrella

12 Months - Opportunity for extension or perm

London, York or Norwich offices (Hybrid)

A 12 month opportunity to work with a very well-known financial services brand across a range of products and media, writing content for website, email, social and more.

This role would be perfect for someone with B2C Copywriting experience in a complex organisation with great language and stakeholder management skills

This role can be based in London, York or Norwich (Hybrid working).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write and edit helpful, educational and emotive content for optimising product pages
• Simplify and communicate complicated financial products to make them easy for our customers to understand
• Work with design, UX and analytics teams to optimise content for conversion and customer experience
• Build strong working relationships with marketing, risk and legal teams
• Collaborate with your team to produce high quality written content that adheres to the brand tone of voice and offers a simple digital customer experience
• Identify opportunities to improve and simplify existing copy on site or in key marketing channels
• Author and on occasion publish content on Adobe Experience Manager content management system (training provided)

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a copywriting or editing role
• Experience of writing B2C content
• Ability and willingness to build knowledge of complex financial services products quickly (previous FS experience not required, but a bonus!)
• Ability to take complex products and communicate them in a simple way that holds meaning for the end user
• Ability to challenge the status quo - we want to make insurance genuinely engaging
