Rate: DOE

We are looking for a DV Cleared Service Desk Support Engineer to work as part of a team working a 24/7 shift pattern to provide first and second line support for all Systems Equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Fault rectification and escalation on Legacy Command and Control systems and all systems and monitoring of databases for fault reports and escalate appropriately
  • Manage the booking and coordination of requested Video Teleconferencing meetings
  • Video Teleconferencing fault rectification support and escalation
  • Engineer and manage all active Video Teleconferencing connections including reconnection of Video Teleconferencing Endpoints where required
  • Provide 1st line telephone support to internal/external customers and liaise with any third-party service desks to maintain a current overview of all reported incidents and outages
  • You will provide a daily brief to line management on the operational status of any system you are responsible for monitoring when the system serviceability is anything other than serviceable
  • Maintaining engineering and occurrence logs recording all actions taken manually and electronically in detail
  • Maintaining the faults and issues report register, overseeing the progress of outstanding issues and appraise line management when issues cannot be resolved through normal channels
