The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technology Delivery Lead Specialist to support the delivery of complex technology solutions for clients across the UK Health and Public Services sectors.

You will work collaboratively with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts and Developers to design and deliver technology solutions that address real-world challenges. The role requires someone who can understand business needs, translate requirements into actionable design documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This is an opportunity to contribute to complex technology projects, work with modern cloud and SaaS platforms, and apply emerging AI technologies to improve project and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop and deliver complex technology solutions.

  • Translate business needs and requirements into clear, actionable design documentation.

  • Communicate technical solutions effectively to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.

  • Support delivery planning, problem-solving and decision-making across the project lifecycle.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Analyse data to inform systems design and support evidence-based delivery decisions.

  • Work across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments, adapting to the methodology best suited to each project.

  • Support and collaborate with junior team members, contributing to effective team delivery.

  • Apply agentic AI and generative AI tools to support project and programme delivery.

  • Adapt quickly to new client environments, technologies and delivery challenges.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in one or more roles across the technology delivery lifecycle, including project or programme management, design, development or quality assurance.

  • Experience contributing to the delivery of complex technology solutions, ideally involving cloud or SaaS systems.

  • Practical understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies and when each is appropriate.

  • Experience working with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, SMEs and Developers.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience using delivery and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel and Microsoft Project.

  • Experience using agentic AI and generative AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude or AWS Q, in project or programme delivery.

  • Ability to analyse data, draw meaningful conclusions and support informed decision-making.

  • Strong requirements analysis skills, including translating business needs into design documentation.

  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with external clients and customers.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in functional and non-functional analysis and design, or a strong understanding of good software development practices.

  • Experience in regulated environments, particularly healthcare or the public sector.

  • An interest in delivering technology solutions for UK Government, Defence, security agencies and public safety organisations.

  • Experience working in complex, multidisciplinary delivery environments.

  • Understanding of software architecture principles, integration design patterns and secure systems design.

  • Specialist knowledge of one or more tools or technologies, with the ability to translate requirements into actionable design documentation.

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Multi-cloud experience across platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.

  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams.

Security Clearance Requirements

Any offer is subject to satisfactory BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance.

Candidates must have five years of continuous UK address history at the point of application. This typically means no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside the UK.

Please ensure you meet these requirements before applying.

Working Arrangements

Flexibility and mobility are required, as the role involves spending time on site with clients and delivery partners where necessary to support successful project delivery.

What This Role Offers
