SC Cleared DevOps Engineer

SC Cleared AWS Platform Engineer | £570/day Inside IR35 | London 2 Days Per Week | 6 Months+

We’re supporting a major programme seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Platform & DevOps Engineer to build and operate the automated cloud delivery foundations underpinning a critical private beta environment.

Active SC clearance is essential and must have been used within the last 12 months, with a minimum of 3 years remaining before expiry.

This is a hands-on platform engineering role focused on creating secure, resilient and highly automated AWS environments that enable teams to develop, test and deploy software efficiently while maintaining strong governance and operational controls.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Quality and Assurance teams to deliver the cloud platforms, deployment pipelines and operational capabilities that support successful programme delivery.

The Role

* Build and operate AWS cloud infrastructure and shared platform services.
* Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions.
* Create and support CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, repeatable deployments.
* Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability capabilities.
* Ensure platform resilience, availability and operational readiness.
* Manage configuration, secrets and environment controls.
* Embed security best practice throughout the delivery lifecycle.
* Support incident response, troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.
* Work across engineering and assurance teams to ensure environments meet security and operational requirements.
* Drive automation and platform engineering best practices.

What We’re Looking For

* Strong AWS cloud engineering and platform experience.
* Background in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
* Strong CI/CD pipeline experience.
* Experience with containerisation technologies, ideally Docker and Kubernetes.
* Strong understanding of observability, monitoring and operational support.
* Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management and governance controls.
* Experience delivering and supporting production cloud environments within secure or regulated settings.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.

* A minimum of 3 years remaining before expiry.
* Ability to attend a London office 2 days per week.
