We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join a major cloud transformation programme, taking ownership of a business-critical platform built on AWS, EKS, Terraform and GitOps.

You’ll lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on, driving platform reliability, security, automation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Platform Engineers.
  • Own platform operations, production readiness, DR testing and incident management.
  • Manage AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform and GitOps environments.
  • Drive secure integrations using PKI, mTLS and OAuth2/OIDC.
  • Define CI/CD standards, release controls and deployment pipelines.
  • Produce ADRs and present solutions to architecture and governance boards.
  • Manage platform roadmap, risks, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • Strong AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform and GitOps experience.
  • Technical leadership or team management background.
  • Expertise in cloud security, networking, PKI and identity management.
  • Experience supporting large-scale production platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted engineering beneficial.
