Oracle FDI Reporitng Lead

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Reporting Lead to support a secure client programme, taking ownership of reporting, semantic modelling, data governance and performance across the Oracle reporting estate.

The role will work across Oracle Fusion HCM, ERP and Oracle EPM Cloud, partnering with business users, report writers, technical teams and third-party suppliers to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, secure, performant and aligned to business requirements.

You will also play a lead role in shaping best practice across FDI deployment, security, performance optimisation and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage existing FDI subject areas and extend or augment data models where required to meet business needs.

• Optimise data performance, reporting efficiency and query execution across FDI.

• Ensure data integrity, consistency and alignment with source systems.

• Work closely with report writers and business stakeholders to maintain and enhance Oracle Data Visualisation solutions across Fusion HCM, ERP and Oracle EPM Cloud datasets.

• Support and evolve data governance, reporting security and RBAC controls.

• Document data models, metadata, business logic and reusable reporting components.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data modelling, integration and reporting issues across FDI solutions.

• Lead best practice across FDI deployment, security and performance optimisation.

• Coordinate delivery across internal technology teams and third-party suppliers.

• Champion continuous delivery and DevOps-aligned engineering practices.

• Take ownership of end-to-end solution delivery across reporting and data requirements.

Essential Experience

• 3+ years’ hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).

• Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules and underlying data schemas, particularly HCM and ERP.

• Experience working with Oracle EPM Cloud datasets.

• Experience loading EPM datasets into FDI.

• Strong experience across OCI, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle PaaS and Fusion Middleware.

• Practical experience building data pipelines from custom schemas and external connectors.

• Proven experience developing and extending semantic models within FDI.

• Strong experience extending security models, contexts and RBAC within FDI.

• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.

• Good understanding of reporting performance optimisation and tuning.

• Experience integrating with Master Data Management platforms, including solutions such as EDM.

• Ability to independently own and deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Experience documenting and communicating functional and technical changes to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven experience leading technical or functional teams within Agile delivery environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Oracle Cloud certifications, including Oracle Analytics Cloud, OCI or Autonomous Data Warehouse.

• Previous IT consulting or support experience.

• Understanding of ITIL, SDLC and wider infrastructure or database environments.

• Hands-on FDI implementation or support experience.

• Experience developing complex BIP and OTBI reports.

• Experience with REST and SOAP web services.

• Previous experience delivering FDI solutions within Public Sector environments.
