Sanderson are working with a growing Software house that is continuing to invest in its engineering capability and product development. They’re looking for a .NET Developer to join a collaborative team and play a key role in developing and improving their core software solutions.
As a .NET Developer, you’ll work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of scalable and secure applications. You’ll work closely with other developers and technical stakeholders, with the opportunity to influence how solutions are built and bring your own ideas to the table.
This is a hands-on development role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively, and keeping up with modern approaches to software engineering. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore AI-assisted development as the team continues to evolve its engineering practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications and RESTful APIs using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from technical design through to deployment and ongoing support
- Build secure, high-quality solutions with a focus on performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Work with Microsoft Azure and SQL Server as part of a modern cloud-based development environment
- Apply automated testing, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Contribute ideas and actively participate in technical discussions and solution design
- Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, development practices, and ways of working
- Explore AI-assisted development tools and help shape how these can be used effectively within the team
Skills & Experience:
- Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs
- Experience working with SQL Server and Microsoft Azure
- Good understanding of automated testing and modern software development practices
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- An interest in AI-assisted development and willingness to experiment with new tools and approaches
- A collaborative and highly communicative approach, with the confidence to contribute ideas and ask questions
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and keen to continue learning and developing
- Experience with Angular, Bicep, Playwright, or Vitest would be beneficial
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a salary up to £58,000 and a fully remote working model, with occasional travel required.
