Finance PMO Analyst

Finance PMO Analyst – Financial governance / Hybrid – South West OR London / £450 p/d via Umbrella

Our client, a leading UK retailer are looking for a PMO analyst to support their portfolio of projects across a number of different transformation programmes. This role will play a key part in portfolio governance, financial management & reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a fast paced environment such as: retail, FMCG or Financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio financials, including forecasting, accruals, journals and budget tracking.
• Support financial governance, ensuring compliance with portfolio controls and processes.
• Produce monthly portfolio reporting packs for senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Analyse financial performance, highlighting risks, issues and forecast variances.
• Maintain portfolio-level governance documentation, dashboards and reporting.
• Support planning, tracking and oversight across multiple programmes within the portfolio.

Skills & Experience

• Experience working as a PMO Analyst, Portfolio Analyst or Programme Analyst.
• Strong financial management experience, including forecasting, accruals and journals.
• Exposure to portfolio governance, reporting and controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience producing management information and reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
