DevOps Engineer (Platform Automation)
6-Month Contract | £500-£550 per day | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working
We’re supporting a large enterprise organisation embarking on a major platform engineering and automation transformation. They’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on modernising software delivery, security automation and cloud platforms.
The Role
- Design, build and enhance enterprise CI/CD platforms and automation solutions.
- Drive DevSecOps adoption through security, compliance and governance automation.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and platform engineering capabilities.
- Support IAM, access management and security controls.
- Improve observability, monitoring and platform reliability.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database and security teams to deliver scalable engineering solutions.
Experience Required
- Strong background in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Python, PowerShell or Bash.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, container technologies and enterprise infrastructure.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, security automation and governance frameworks.
- Experience working within large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
