We are seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Engineer to support a large-scale technology integration programme following a series of business acquisitions.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on consolidating infrastructure, applications, data and users into a unified Microsoft estate. You’ll play a key role in delivering Azure and Microsoft 365 migrations, helping to integrate multiple businesses whilst ensuring services remain secure, stable and supportable.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working across a broad range of technologies, engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and taking ownership of migration activities from planning through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations and platform consolidations.
  • Lead Azure-to-Azure migration activities across multiple environments.
  • Support the migration of file services, collaboration platforms and line-of-business applications.
  • Work closely with project teams, stakeholders and third-party suppliers to coordinate migration activities.
  • Conduct technical assessments, planning, testing and cutover activities.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Ensure solutions are well-documented, supportable and aligned to business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during integration and transformation projects.

Experience Required

  • Experience migrating legacy on-premise applications into modern cloud environments.
  • Strong infrastructure engineering background within complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience delivering Azure and Microsoft 365 migration programmes.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation and identity migration activities.
  • Strong Azure infrastructure knowledge, including Azure Virtual Desktop and associated services.
  • Experience supporting and migrating SQL-based applications and services.
  • Understanding of data migration, application dependencies and validation activities.
  • Previous experience working on mergers, acquisitions, divestments or business integration programmes would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced programme environment.
