Business Analyst – Testing / ITSM

Location: Corsham (hybrid) – 2 days per week/monthly
Contract: Contract opportunity
Security Clearance: Active SC clearance required
Rate: Up to £500 per day

The Opportunity

A leading management and technology consultancy is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a client engagement within a technical testing environment.

The successful candidate will have experience working alongside testing teams and a good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, ideally Remedy or similar software. You will work with business stakeholders, technical specialists and test teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, systems are thoroughly tested and solutions meet the required business and technical needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Security Cleared Business Analyst to contribute to a consultancy-led project supporting a client in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.

• Work closely with testing teams to support test planning, execution and validation.

• Analyse business processes, workflows and system functionality.

• Support the identification, investigation and resolution of defects and issues.

• Work with ITSM platforms, ideally Remedy or equivalent tools.

• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams and testers.

• Maintain clear requirements documentation and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support the delivery of solutions that meet agreed requirements and quality standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst.

• Experience within a testing environment or working closely with test teams.

• Familiarity with Remedy or another IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.

• Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Active Security Check (SC) clearance.

Location & Working Pattern

The role is based in Corsham, with an anticipated requirement of two days per week on site. However, actual on-site attendance is expected to be considerably less, offering flexibility for the successful candidate.

Day Rate

Up to £500 per day, depending on experience.
