BI Engineer/ Power BI Developer – Supply Chain

£500-£600 pd via Umbrella

Mostly remote- 2 days per month in Hampshire

A leading business is seeking an experienced BI Engineer / Power BI Developer to support the transformation of its Supply Chain reporting and analytics capability. Working with Business Intelligence, Data Engineering and Supply Chain teams, you will modernise reporting, migrate legacy data processes, and deliver scalable data solutions using Databricks, SAP and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
• Analyse and improve existing reports, dashboards and data processes through automation and optimisation
• Support the migration of legacy reporting into a modern Databricks-based cloud environment
• Build and optimise SQL transformations, analytical datasets and data models
• Develop high-quality Power BI dashboards, semantic models and self-service reporting solutions

Skills & Experience

• Proven BI development experience, ideally within Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail or Manufacturing environments
• Advanced Power BI development skills
• Strong SQL skills with experience working on large, complex datasets
• Strong Databricks experience, including SQL development, data transformation and analytics
• Previous involvement in data migration or modernisation programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience with SAP Supply Chain data and processes is highly desirable.
