Agile PMO Analyst

Location: Hybrid (location to be confirmed)
Contract Type: Contract

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Agile PMO Analyst to join a high-performing delivery team. This is not a traditional PMO role focused solely on governance and reporting. Instead, we’re looking for someone who enjoys building intelligent tools and automating processes to improve delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated PMO tools to improve reporting and delivery governance.
  • Build and maintain advanced Excel models for planning, forecasting and resource management.
  • Automate reporting, trackers and planning processes using VBA and macros.
  • Support programme planning, RAID management, governance, resource planning and demand tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve existing PMO processes.
  • Produce accurate, insightful reporting to support programme decision-making.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to create scalable, efficient ways of working.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, including:
    • Complex formulas
    • Data modelling
    • Power Query
  • Strong VBA and macro development skills for automating reporting and planning activities.
  • SolidPMO experience, including:
    • Programme planning
    • RAID management
    • Governance
    • Resource and demand management
    • Forecasting
  • Experience creating tools that reduce manual effort and improve delivery efficiency.

Desirable Skills

  • Power BI
  • SQL
  • Dashboard development and data visualisation
  • Process improvement experience
  • Public sector delivery experience
