We’re seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on contract role with a strong focus on on-premise technologies, providing 3rd line support, maintaining business-critical systems and contributing to infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Working within an ITIL-led environment, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance and resilience of core infrastructure services, whilst supporting ongoing automation and modernisation activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer seeking a varied contract role supporting a complex enterprise environment with a strong emphasis on traditional on-premise infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 3rd line infrastructure support across servers, storage, networking and business systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows-based infrastructure environments.
  • Support virtualised platforms and ensure system availability and capacity.
  • Manage Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365 and core corporate applications.
  • Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve technical issues.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 administration.

  • SCCM or equivalent endpoint management tools.
