Location: Midlands /Hybrid

We’re looking for a highly quality Experienced Solution Architect aligned to the Fulfilment and Store Operations of our client with a strong background in the retail sector in fulfilment, carrier and transport management and store operations. This role is fully aligned to the fulfilment and store operations domains – providing solution architecture services to enable the delivery of their roadmap.

You’ll be joining a house hold brand that are going through another phase of exciting growth and looking to improve their customer and colleague experience through the introduction of new technologies, processes, efficiencies and automation.

This role requires someone with very strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities as well as excellent technical know how.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail businesses on projects which cross multiple domains and channels
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering platform solutions used by multiple brands in multiple territories, balancing conflicting demands and requirements from senior stakeholders
  • Experience of working with Fluent
  • Understanding of MACH principles, with a focus on composable platforms and patterns
  • Strong skills in solution design, systems integration and architecture governance
  • Solid understanding of data governance, privacy standards, and compliance in customer data handling
  • Proven stakeholder management skills in a company operating in multiple countries
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty in business requirements and a complex and changing solution landscape
  • Experience of creating and maintaining information in an architecture repository, ideally LeanIX
