Competencies/skills

Essential

  •  Delivery experience of AI-focussed technology projects within larger, strategic programmes

o Experience in hosting and tuning AI models to achieve scalable AI inference for users

o Experience in X-ray image based AI models, density and object-based identification

o Experience with AI/ML platforms and processes: OpenVINO or similar toolkit; MLOps training pipeline; SageMaker.

  • Requires experience of data governance, privacy policies and AI assurance methods
  •  Requires indepth AWS experience, particularly S3, serverless computing (Lambda), EventBridge/SNS/SQS
  •  Experience working with both supplier and internal developer and devops teams in complex delivery environments to ensure that deployed solutions meet stakeholder expectations
  •  Strong senior stakeholder management experience
  •  Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate architecture into understandable concepts for senior business stakeholders
  •  Broad understanding of solution architecture, architectural delivery, process, modelling and notation within enterprise-level contexts

Desirable:

  •  Experience in designing platforms for managing large data for AI Models in highly regulated environments
  •  Public sector experience

    We’re hiring an experienced Lead Data Architect to shape and deliver secure, large‑scale data solutions for high‑profile, mission‑critical programmes. You’ll play a key role in defining data strategy, designing resilient cloud architectures, and leading teams working on complex, sensitive data platforms.

    What you’ll be doing

    • Engaging with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and provide strategic data architecture guidance
    • Designing and delivering secure, scalable data platforms aligned to performance and regulatory requirements
    • Architecting cloud‑native batch and real‑time data solutions using AWS and other public cloud platforms
    • Providing technical leadership across cross‑functional teams and setting best practice standards
    • Designing data models, ETL pipelines, warehousing solutions and distributed systems
    • Building and supporting real‑time streaming platforms using Apache Flink and related technologies
    • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and government regulations

    What we’re looking for

    • 6+ years’ experience in data architecture on complex, secure programmes

    • Proven experience using Apache Flink for real‑time, high‑throughput data processing
    • Experience leading, mentoring and developing technical teams
    • Confident engaging with senior technical and non‑technical stakeholders
    • Knowledge of recognised data modelling patterns and standards
    • Experience working in sensitive or regulated data environments
    • Exposure to cyber security teams and secure‑by‑design principles
    • Desirable experience with Scala, Spark and wider big data ecosystems
    • Strong understanding of cloud operating models, DevOps and modern delivery practices

        This is a hands-on role focused on data solution design, source-to-target mapping, physical data modelling, and data warehouse design.

        Key Responsibilities

        • Design end-to-end data solutions aligned to business requirements.
        • Create and maintain source-to-target mappings.
        • Develop physical data models and data warehouse structures.
        • Design fact, dimension and bridge tables.
        • Define SCD Type 2 dimensions and data quality rules.

As part of a major change programme, they’re looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to support key supply chain and logistics initiatives through high-quality analysis, insight generation and stakeholder engagement.

          This role would suit a strong analyst who enjoys working on project-based analytical challenges, translating complex data into meaningful business insights and influencing decision-making through data-driven recommendations.

          What You’ll Be Doing

          • Analysing complex operational and supply chain datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
          • Supporting business-critical projects, including supply chain transformation and data migration initiatives.
          • Delivering actionable insights to stakeholders across supply chain, logistics and operational teams.
