Global client building out a GenAI capability – looking for hands-on contractors to deliver LLM-powered products and agentic workflows in production.

The role is focused on building real-world GenAI applications.

The role

• Building LLM-driven applications (copilots, chatbots, automation tools)
• Developing agentic workflows (multi-step reasoning, tool use, task execution)
• Implementing RAG pipelines and integrating with business data
• Deploying production-grade AI systems in the cloud

Skills/experience

• Strong Python (production-level)
• Proven GenAI / LLM experience in a commercial setting
• Experience with LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
• Hands-on with agent frameworks (e.g. LangChain or similar)
• Experience with RAG / embeddings / vector search
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Nice to have

• Prompt engineering / LLM optimisation
• Performance, cost, and latency tuning
• Traditional ML background
• Experience working within the Financial Services sector

Data Migration Manager

12-month contract

Initially 2 days a week onsite in Wiltshire – will move more remote

Data Engineer

Location: Remote / monthly visits to Cardiff
Salary: up to £72,000 with generous bonus

The Role

• Hands-on experience with modern data tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, dbt, Kubernetes, or similar
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Terraform, and modern engineering practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to tools such as Airflow/Composer and Azure DevOps
• Understanding of AI/ML tooling such as Vertex AI

Desirable

• Experience with BI/visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, MicroStrategy)
• Knowledge of data modelling approaches such as Kimball
• Familiarity with emerging AI-assisted development tools

A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to provide hands-on technical leadership across a high-impact transformation programme.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front-guiding a small team while remaining deeply involved in model development, validation, and deployment within a regulated environment.

The Role

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day direction to a team of 4-5 Data Scientists (no formal line management).
• Define and enforce coding standards, modelling best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Design, build, and deploy production-grade machine learning models (predictive and risk-focused).
• Develop scalable ML pipelines in Python.
• Implement robust model validation, monitoring, and performance tracking frameworks.
• Translate complex business and risk requirements into advanced analytical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with risk, actuarial, and engineering teams to operationalise models.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience building and deploying machine learning models into production (end-to-end ownership – not just experimentation).
• Mandatory background in Financial Services or Insurance
• Advanced Python expertise
• Strong knowledge of predictive modelling techniques (regression, classification, ensemble methods).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale enterprise datasets.
• Experience providing technical leadership, including code and model review.
