Scrum Master | National Security | Manchester | Competitive Salary + DV Bonus + Benefits

Are you a Scrum Master who wants to do more than run standups and update Jira boards? Ready to work on software and cloud programmes that actually matter – at the cutting edge of what technology can do in the national security space?

We’re working with a large, well-established enterprise business with over a decade of delivering high-impact technology programmes for government and defence clients. They are trusted at the highest levels of the sector and their work spans cloud platforms, software development, and data and AI – all within secure environments.

The Role

You’ll embed within high-performing engineering teams, driving agile delivery across complex, mission-critical software and cloud programmes. This is not a box-ticking agile role – you’ll be working with talented engineers and technical leads on some of the most sophisticated technology programmes in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Facilitating agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement across delivery teams
  • Removing blockers and creating the conditions for engineering teams to do their best work
  • Working across a portfolio spanning cloud, software, and data/AI programmes
  • Collaborating with technical leads, product owners, and senior stakeholders
  • Championing agile best practice within a complex, secure delivery environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master on software, cloud, or data programmes
  • Comfortable working within large, complex delivery environments
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in or exposure to national security, defence, or regulated environments
  • DV clearance is an essential requirement for this role

Why This Role?

This business has spent over ten years building a reputation as one of the most trusted technology partners in the national security sector. They work on programmes that genuinely push the boundaries of what secure technology can achieve – and they invest seriously in the people who deliver them. Manchester is a growing hub for national security technology work – and this business is at the centre of it.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive base salary dependent on experience
  • Up to £10,000 DV clearance bonus
  • Comprehensive corporate benefits package
  • Investment in your ongoing development and career progression
