Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) - Python

SDET – Python- £700-£900/day via PAYE

London – On-site (5 Days/Week)

6-Month Initial Contract

Global Financial Services organisation undergoing a major AI-driven business transformation, they are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their team in London.

Role Overview:

As an SDET, you’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining automated test frameworks and performance testing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and reliability of AI and machine learning-powered solutions that are reshaping core business processes across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks.
• Implement and manage performance testing strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure testing best practices are embedded in all stages of development.
• Contribute to the validation of AI/ML models and services.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience testing AI models or services.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Expertise in Pytest, Locust, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or BlazeMeter.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and software testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, global environme
