Leading procurement and category management activities across Professional Services (e.g., consulting, legal, HR, recruitment, audit, advisory).
-
Developing and maintaining category plans that align with business objectives and transformation programmes.
-
Driving sourcing strategies, market assessments, and leading complex supplier negotiations to secure sustainable cost savings and commercial value.
-
Managing the full supplier lifecycle, from onboarding and due diligence through to contract delivery and supplier governance.
-
Creating commercial agreements that drive long-term value and protect the organisation against risk, compliance issues, and inflationary pressures.
-
Building strong supplier relationships that foster innovation and deliver continuous improvement.
-
Coaching and mentoring procurement colleagues to raise commercial capability across the wider team.

We’re looking for someone with:
-
Proven experience in indirect procurement, specifically within Professional Services.

Excellent negotiation skills, with experience managing outsourced and offshored service providers.
-
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to build credibility and influence at senior levels.
-
Solid understanding of risk, governance, and supplier performance frameworks.
-
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into commercial insights and recommendations.
Desirable experience:
-
Exposure to other indirect categories such as Technology, Marketing, or Facilities.
-
Experience working in regulated industries such as Financial Services.
-
Knowledge of ESG principles and embedding sustainability into supplier strategies.
What’s On Offer
-
Salary up to £75,000 plus discretionary annual bonus.
-
25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days.
-
Hybrid working model (Bristol office).
-
