An established and growing digital transformation consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Delivery Manager to support continued growth across its delivery team.

The organisation delivers transformation work across the public sector, with a strong focus on local government. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high profile initiatives where delivery structure, leadership and stakeholder engagement are critical.

The role

You will join the delivery function and take the lead across client engagements. You will be responsible for ensuring delivery is structured, governed effectively and moving at pace, while building strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting multidisciplinary teams.

Projects may include digital transformation, service redesign, governance improvement, operating model change and wider delivery of transformation initiatives.

This is a hands on role. You may be required to operate across delivery, PMO and wider change depending on the engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead delivery across transformation programmes and projects.
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Implement governance and delivery frameworks.
  • Support agile and structured delivery approaches.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams.
  • Manage risks, priorities and delivery plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior delivery or programme roles.
  • Experience working in or with public sector organisations.
  • Local or central government experience is desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of governance and delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to adapt to different client environments.

Location

Candidates based in South Wales or Bristol are well suited. Travel to client sites will be required. Monthly office presence in Swansea is expected.
