Senior Data Engineer – SQL, Terraform, AWS

£550-£595pd outside IR35

Bristol/ Remote – Frequent visits in the beginning and for workshops otherwise once a month

Initially for 6 months

Leading business is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a major data transformation programme, helping to build and enhance a strategic data product focused on customer and business entity data.

This role combines hands-on data engineering with platform and infrastructure development. You’ll be responsible for designing data models, building integrations and orchestration pipelines, implementing data quality controls, and developing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles.

Essential Skills

• Strong SQL expertise
• Hands-on Terraform experience
• Strong AWS experience
• Data modelling and pipeline development
• Integration and orchestration experience
• Data quality and validation framework implementation

Desirable

• Snowflake
• Experience working with customer, party, master data or householding solutions

This is an excellent opportunity for a contractor who enjoys building both the data pipelines and the cloud infrastructure that supports them, within a large-scale, business-critical programme.
