Red Hat & VMWare Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Red Hat + VMware Engineer to join a secure, high-performance environment in Farnborough. This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who thrives in complex, mission-critical infrastructures and is comfortable working fully on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments

• Build, configure, and support VMware virtualisation platforms

• Troubleshoot system, performance, and infrastructure issues

• Implement automation, optimisation, and security best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and security teams

• Support project delivery within a classified environment

Required Experience

• Strong background with RHEL (installation, configuration, patching, hardening)

• Expertise in VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, and related tooling

• Experience working in secure/government environments

• Proven ability to work on complex infrastructure projects

• Current eDV clearance preferred (or willingness to undergo)

  • MOD DV holders will also be considered
