Data Management Analyst- Insurance

Data Management Analyst- £500-£600 per day (via Umbrella)
Hybrid – 2 days per week in Central London

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Analyst to join a leading specialist Insurance Company on a long-term contract.

This role will play a key part in establishing and embedding a robust data governance framework, improving data quality, defining data assets, and ensuring strong alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data discovery, scanning, profiling, and classification activities.
• Act as a bridge between technical data teams and business users to ensure mutual understanding and delivery of business needs.
• Integrate and implement data governance tools to support enterprise data management.
• Deploy and manage data profiling tools (e.g., Informatica DQ) to monitor and improve data quality.
• Develop and maintain a data dictionary with clear business definitions, rules, and data lineage documentation.

Skills & Experience Required

• Extensive experience as a Data Management Analyst, with a strong focus on Data Quality and Data Governance.
• Proven ability to deliver and embed data governance strategies within complex organisations.
• Deep understanding of data governance principles, metadata management, and data quality best practices.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or equivalent data governance platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business teams.
• Background in Financial Services, ideally Insurance
