Essential
- Familiarity with cyber threat frameworks – for example, MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, and the Intelligence Cycle
- Experience using open-source and commercial research methods, threat intelligence platforms or security tooling.
- Experience of working in an intelligence role, with practical application of the intelligence lifecycle.
- Demonstrable analytical capability, including the ability to identify patterns and produce balanced, evidenced judgements.
- Experience researching, analysing and reporting on cyber threats or related security issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills with experience presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences and writing technical, operational and strategic cyber threat Intelligence reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an operational environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to, and experience with, developing productive and trusting relationships with individuals across Government and industry.
Desirable
- Experience working in a cyber security, security operations, or incident response environment.
- Relevant professional qualifications or training in intelligence analysis or cyber security.
- The resilience to manage multiple projects concurrently, with the ability to research, benchmark, scope, design, implement and evaluate project delivery to tight deadlines;
- A proactive approach and a focus on continuous improvement of self and service, with an appetite to work with others to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
