Business Analyst (Hybrid) – Financial Services

Location: Bromsgrove. 2 to 3 days per week onsite
Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits package

Duration: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the role
Our client, one of the UK’s leading Financial Services firms, are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a high volume of business and technology change within a regulated environment.
You will work across operations, CRM systems and wider change initiatives, shaping requirements, mapping processes and ensuring delivery aligns to business outcomes.
This is a hands-on Business Analyst role working across process mapping, CRM platforms and Agile delivery in a stakeholder-heavy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work with senior stakeholders to define and manage business change requirements
• Elicit, challenge and refine requirements across operations and technology
• Map current and future state processes across business workflows
• Translate requirements into clear documentation, user stories and change outputs
• Bring structure to ambiguous requirements and complex change activity
• Ensure alignment across business change, operations and technology teams
• Support consistency across multiple change workstreams
• Review and structure large volumes of process documentation using AI tools and Microsoft Copilot

Skills and experience

• Recent experience as a Business Analyst within wealth management
• Proven ability in process mapping and workflow documentation
• Experience working with CRM systems, ideally Xplan or IRESS
• Strong capability in requirements gathering and stakeholder management
• Good understanding of Agile delivery and user stories
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and create clarity
• Experience handling large volumes of process and operational data
• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or AI tools would be beneficial
