Are you a Mobile Test Automation Engineer passionate about quality, performance, and delivering impactful solutions in a fast-moving, collaborative environment?

We’re seeking an experienced engineer to join a growing QA function and play a key role in shaping the future of smart building technology. You’ll work on cutting-edge mobile products that transform how people interact with physical spaces, helping create truly connected and intelligent environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and build scalable, maintainable automation frameworks for React Native mobile applications (iOS and Android).

  • Write robust end-to-end, integration, and UI tests using tools like Detox, Appium, or WebdriverIO.

  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Analyse test results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous improvement of QA practices.

  • Mentor junior QA team members and champion automation-first principles.

  • Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and techniques for enhanced test efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years’ experience in mobile automation testing across iOS and Android.

  • Hands-on experience with React Native testing tools like Detox, Appium, or similar.

  • Strong coding skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.

  • Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, RESTful APIs, and performance profiling.

  • Comfortable with development tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, and Expo.

  • Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Gherkin.

  • Familiarity with Jira or similar agile tools.

  • Exposure to mobile performance or load testing.

    Senior Test Engineer – Must hold DV Clearance

    Salary circa £55k+

    This requires 5 days onsite in Hereford.

    Join us in delivering critical infrastructure projects essential to the industry. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in systems integration and verification (I&V) to lead test activities on a high-profile programme.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Lead a small team delivering key testing milestones on time and to quality standards

    • Plan, manage, and execute integration and verification tests with internal teams and third-party suppliers

    • Review requirements/designs and ensure comprehensive test coverage

    • Drive improvements in test processes and reporting

    • Collaborate with I&V leadership on planning, issue resolution, and progress tracking

    Essential Skills:

    • Proven systems integration and functional testing experience

    • ISTQB Foundation Certificate (or equivalent)

    • Strong communication, leadership, and troubleshooting skills

    • Confident in creating test plans, cases, and reports

    • Able to review supplier test evidence and work across interfaces

    Desirable:

    • Experience with large-scale integration programmes

    • Familiarity with SOA, test automation, virtualised systems

        I am currently looking for a Non Cleared Tester to join a leading organisation based in the UK. Within this role you will have experiences of working within public sector organisations and have worked within AGILE environments

        Rate – £430.00 per day inside ir35

        Location – FULLY REMOTE

        Duration – 6 – 12 Months

        • Have a certified ISTQB background; ISTQB Foundation at a minimum. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.
        • Experience with these core testing techniques: Exploratory, Integration, Manual, Functional
        • Experience setting up and contributing to test frameworks in Java
        • Experience with writing a variety of backend and frontend automated tests using Selenium, Cucumber, REST etc.
        • Experience working in an Agile environment
        • Experience using version control software – Git
        • Experience using online version control tools – GitHub, GitLab etc
        • Experience with self-managing and being able to self-identify areas that needs work
