Test Analyst – Infrastructure

3-month initial contract with long term potential

Bristol based – up to 3-4 days per week on site

£350- £400 per day – umbrella engagement

I am currently working with a client who is seeking a Test Analyst with a strong background in Network or Infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, executing, and reporting on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-user device testing, ensuring minimal disruption to users across the organisation.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Test Analyst, Test Lead, or similar role in infrastructure and network-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of UAT processes and experience working with non-technical end-users.
  • Expertise in end-user device testing, particularly within heterogeneous environments (e.g. multiple OS or device types).
  • Ability to design and execute manual test cases based on technical and business requirements.
  • Proficient in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present findings clearly.
  • Strong documentation skills, including test scripts, test reports, and defect logs.

    Our client, a global leading organisation, is looking to hire a Quality Engineer with experience of test automation to drive high-quality software delivery.

    In this hands-on role, you’ll work within an Agile team to deliver robust manual and automated testing practices, while also taking on a tech/functional leadership role by guiding, overseeing, and driving testing activities across the team

    The successful candidate will lead testing efforts, mentor offshore testers and ensure the delivery of high-quality releases. To include, test planning, test case preparation, test execution, test automation and defect management to drive continuous improvement in our Agile testing processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement and enhance test automation frameworks using Katalon Studio (Will be put through all certifications).
    • Implementing Katalon Studio across their products with Groovy.
    • Lead test planning, automation, and defect management.
    • Collaborate with Agile teams and stakeholders in Sprint ceremonies.
    • Support DevOps teams with deployment and environment issues.

    Skills and experience required:

    • Relevant experience working with Scrum teams specialising in both manual testing and test automation.
    • Proficiency with either Java or Groovy.
    • Experience as a Senior Quality Engineer with proficiency in Pega testing and test automation tools.
    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure Test Plans.
    • London Market Insurance experience is essential

        Role Overview
        To provide enhanced coordination and comprehensive testing and analytical skills, whether as part of a testing project, within a managed testing service, or as part of a development project for both functional and non-functional testing. The role may entail team leading and providing advice and guidance on process and good practises to own or others teams. Also provides guidance on testing best practice to other teams.

        Key Responsibilities

        • Contribute to Test Plan and Test Approach documents, in line with the Test Strategy.
        • Understand requirements and derive tests from them.
        • Understand core solution design artefacts (e.g. HLD, LLD).
        • Analyse and write clear and in-depth Test Cases, including expected results for complex high-level requirements.
        • Close liaison with Developments & Engineering teams.

          Sanderson Recruitment are supporting a leading Financial Services organisation with their search for a permanent Engineering Test Lead.

          This role will be to build out a testing framework for a whole engineering function which currently uses Microsoft stack (Blazer, Angular, C#, SQL Server, Cypress, Selenium, Playwrite). We are looking for someone who is passionate about Testing and has a broad and diverse testing background. This must include experience of automation testing. You will still be very hands on and get involved with the day to day testing.

          This role is hybrid with 1-2 days a week on site in a central Darlington location.
