A leading technology company is seeking a Robotics Lab Engineer to support the development of computer vision and machine learning algorithms. This position involves hands on lab-based work with physical hardware and automation systems to generate and validate large-scale image datasets.

Role Focus

  • Operate and develop lab automation systems, including robotic hands, lighting rigs and capture devices.
  • Design and execute data capture and validation protocols to produce image datasets under diverse lighting and motion conditions.
  • Translate dataset requirements into automated test routines and experimental setups.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education:
    • Engineering degree (Robotics, Mechanical or related).
    • Master’s degree with 3+ years’ industry experience preferred.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong Python programming (3+ years of hands-on experience).
    • ROS (Robot Operating System) framework experience.
    • CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
    • Solid understanding of 3D geometry and autonomous robotics development.
  • Preferred Backgrounds:
    • Robotics or mechanical engineering labs.
    • Data capture or validation labs.
    • Hardware QA engineering or robotics testing.
    • Experience within large-scale technology environments is advantageous.

    Apple is looking for a highly motivated engineer to work in a data capture and validation lab in our R&D office in Cambridge. You will be working side by side with ML algorithms teams to create automated processes to validate new features for Apple products. This work will be ‘hands-on’, working with robotic, camera and lighting equipment. Candidates should have experience working with robotics or 3D geometrical problems, with supplementary exceptional software skills. Interest in machine learning, computer vision, software QA are desirable. This is a full-time position, candidates must be able to work from our Cambridge office the majority of the time.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Minimum qualification: Masters Degree in engineering related discipline.
    • Minimum qualification: 3+ years working in industry, with experience in software or robotics.
    • Expertise in developing autonomous robotic solutions.
    • Expertise in 3D geometry.
    • Exceptional software engineering skills.
    • Interest in Machine Learning or Computer Graphics is preferable.
    • Comfortable with hands-on practical tasks, working in a lab environment.

                    We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Application Security Engineer to join a leading organisation on a contract basis. You’ll play a key role in strengthening the security of large-scale mobile applications, working across both iOS and Android platforms.

                    Partnering with engineering and cyber security teams, you’ll embed and enhance mobile security throughout the development lifecycle shaping tooling strategy, driving automation and promoting a “Secure by Design” culture.

                    Key Responsibilities

                    • Design and implement automated mobile security testing and vulnerability scanning within the mobile SDLC.
                    • Define and deliver the mobile app security tooling and technology strategy.
                    • Run proof of concepts for new tools and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
