Role details:

We’re partnering with a leading consultancy who deliver innovative systems and engineering solutions to their clients. They have an established capability in nuclear control system design & verification and are looking to grow their FPGA team in Glasgow.

Requirements:

• A thorough understanding of FPGA concepts and hardware design.
• Proficiency in VHDL design toolsets and verification suites.
• Experience of developing complex FPGA architectures and design solutions.
• Requirements capture and development
• Conduct FPGA synthesis, place and route, and timing closure to meet performance targets.
• Developing supporting software to maximise the efficiency of the FPGA design lifecycle, e.g. test scripts.
• Troubleshoot and debug FPGA designs, identifying and resolving issues in a demanding environment.

Eligibility:

To be considered for the role, you must be eligible for SC Clearance (Sole UK National from birth + Residence in the UK for the past 5 years).

Python Developer

£650 – 700/day overall assignment rate to umbrella

Mostly remote – occasional site visits in London

6 month initial contract

Looking for a Python Developer to work with the wider Platform Engineering team to develop and maintain software platforms. Developing high-quality software platforms for the Data Science team to achieve business challenges.

Python Developer, key skills:

• Knowledge and experience in Django and Python backend.
• GCP experience is desirable
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
• Excellent understanding of SQL and non-SQL databases.
• Understanding of machine learning and its applications.
• Proven experience of delivering several high-quality Software products and experience of productionisation.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using different tools e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins, Cloud Build.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and manage deliverables.
• Excellent communication and soft skills to manage stakeholders demand

Python Developer, Django, GCP, Kubernetes

Role: Flutter Developer

Salary: up to £65,000

Location: Fully remote

• Experience with state management solutions such as Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON for backend integration.
• Familiarity with Git and an understanding of version control workflows within a CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with automated testing and a commitment to writing high-quality, testable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.

Power Apps Developer

£500/day overall assignment rate to umbrella

Remote working – occasional site visits

Working with a leading retail client who are looking for a Power Apps Developer to design and develop business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform – will need strong experience in building applications using Power Apps.

• Power Apps specialist – design and develop applications using Power Apps
• MUST have extensive SQL – integrating with SQL and ability to write SQL queries to support integration

Software Engineer – Mid-Senior

Java required, ideally with AWS

Salary to £70,000 plus generous performance and clearance related bonuses of up to £14,000/annum

Cheltenham or Manchester – Typically 3 days on site

Sanderson are working with a major supplier to the UK MoD and National Security sector who are currently recruiting for Software Engineers across multiple levels.

They are looking for individuals who have Java as one of their primary languages, and ideally AWS although other cloud experience will be considered.

You would ideally currently hold at least some form of Security Clearance, and will be required to go through DV clearance one you are in post. There is a significant bonus associated with this. That being said, we are happy to consider application from those who do not currently hold clearance.
