As a Software Developer, you would be involved in shaping technical direction while supporting the ongoing evolution of key platforms in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:

Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in backend development with .Net (C#)
  • Proficiency in frontend development across Angular, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS
  • Strong database skills with SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity working within a cloud environment, particularly AWS or Azure
  • Experience maintaining and modernising legacy systems
  • Experience working in a client-facing or business-facing technical role

This is a full-time, permanent role, offering a starting salary up to £65,000 (Depending on experience) and a hybrid working model (2-3 days a week in office).

    Sanderson are working with one of the best know suppliers to the secure government sector in their search for a Software Engineering Team Lead to come in a head up an existing team of software professionals.

    The team is currently approximately 10 individuals with skills across Java, Python, C# and React, supporting a secure end client. They are based in our client’s Gloucester office, and therefore the team manager would also be expected to be present most of the time. You should also be reasonably proficient in at least one of the aforementioned languages in order to step in and help out where required.

    You should be a commercial aware and confident individual, able to manage relationships across the business and with the end customers.

    For this role you would ideally already hold at least SC clearance, and be prepared to achieve DV clearance if required. If you do not hold an active clearance, but perhaps have historically, please still apply and we will consider this on a case by case basis.
