This is an opportunity for a PMO Analyst/Programme co-ordinator to join one of our prestigious Bristol based clients. The organisation is looking to grow out their PMO funtion, increasing their maturity and improving the PMO Service.

At present the business has a broad range of projects and programmes that are falling away from the governance framework that they have in place due to workloads.

This role will be supporting a PMO Lead and PMO manager.

Candidates will need the following experience to be considered for the position:

  • Experienced PMO Analyst or Programme co-ordinator
  • Excellent communication skills in a written and verbal capacity
  • Able to effectively manage stakeholders
  • Highly organised
  • Able to start the position in early December

      PMO Analyst – Financial Services – Regulatory & Remediation programme

      Our prestigious Yorkshire based Financial Services client client have a requirement for an experienced PMO Analyst to work as a standalone PMO supporting a Programme Manager and multiple Project Managers on a high-profile and high-priority major regulatory and remediation programme. The programme is about to commence a 6-8 week mobilisation phase, before moving into delivery for 2025 and potentially into 2026.

      This role will report into the client’s central PMO function and have a dotted line into the Programme Manager. Duties will include; RAID management, assistance in project planning and tracking, forecasting and budget management, reporting and governance, and pack creation for Exec committees and steering groups.

      Up to £400 per day – UMBRELLA ONLY

      6 month initial contract (with scope for extensions to follow)

      Hybrid Working – 1 day every week to fortnight onsite in North Yorkshire

      Experience needed:

      • Strong experience of undertaking PMO Analyst or PMO Lead roles, with experience of working within a major programme (ideally as a standalone PMO) and not just within the Portfolio or PMO
      • A solid PMO core skillset to include:
        • RAID management
        • Project planning and tracking
        • Forecasting and budget management
        • Reporting and governance
        • Pack creation for Exec committees and steering groups
      • Extensive experience within the Financial Services industry, with strong preference for experience of working within the Life & Pensions industry.
      • Experience of supporting major regulatory and / or remediation programmes with the Financial Services industry
      • Personable and engaging with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
      • Excellent communication kills in a written and verbal capacity.

                    Our client require an experienced and DV Cleared P6 (Primavera) and or MS Projects Planner, to support by providing key control and governance expertise.
