Product Owner FTC (12 Months)

£60,000 to £70,000 Base Salary

West Sussex – 2 days a week in the office, 3 WFH (Flexible)

Our Client, a well-established financial services organisation, are looking to hire a Product owner to join their agile product development team to deliver a pre-agreed roadmap of features – Mobile App and Web.

This is a 12 Month Contract with an ASAP start date.

Overview of Responsibilities

  • Delivering against an agreed roadmap of product enhancements
  • Working closely with an agile product team
  • Working with Subject Matter Experts for Sign-Off
  • Maintaining a detailed sprint plan
  • Reporting on sprint progress and key feature delivery to internal stakeholders
  • Providing regular updates to key stakeholders
  • Sharing the product vision with the larger business
  • Working with Squad Leads, Scrum Masters & SMEs to maximise the efficiency of the team.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working within agile software development teams in a Product Manager role or similar
  • Experience working within a wide range of technologies and a good technical mindset.
  • Can articulate a good understand of agile principles and methodologies.
  • Proven track record of developing successful products.
  • Strong self-starter with strong organisation skills.
  • Kean eye for detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to influence and set clear achievable expectations.
  • Good understanding of MS Office, specifically in documenting and presenting information.
  • Bonus: Agile Product Owner or Scrum Master Certification
  • Bonus: Experience working with Azure Dev Ops
