Project Manager (Pensions / Benefit)

Working Arrangements – Fully Remote

Salary – £59,500 + (10-20% Annual Performance Bonus + Benefits)

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a growing Project Delivery team.

The Project Manager will be accountable for the successful delivery of assigned pensions, benefit projects and change initiatives. Ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and adherence to the project governance framework.

Your Experience

To thrive in this role, we’re looking for someone with proven experience in project delivery, who has successfully applied a relevant project management methodology.

You’ll have worked across various project types, within pensions, pension schemes and various pension based products such as DB and DC pension types. You may also have worked on company benefit schemes.

Consistently delivering high-quality business outcomes while ensuring projects stay within scope, budget, and time-lines, all while maintaining strong governance.

We’re seeking a delivery-focused individual who can communicate effectively and build trust with stakeholders, guiding them through the project and fostering an open and cooperative environment. Your resilience will shine through as you provide valuable insights and make recommendations for improvements across business change, life-cycle, policies, processes, and procedures.

You’ll bring strong project management and planning skills, along with a recognised qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, or MSP. Experience managing and delivering projects in a pension and benefits environment would be a significant advantage.

    Our prestigious client based in south Oxfordshire are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the implementation of a new HR & Benefits system Workday from early initiation phase This is a chance to come in right at the start of the project.

    The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and driving the project and will also manage the relationship and delivery from a Workday 3rd party partner who are doing the technical implementation.

    Candidates will need the following experience/skills to be considered for the role:

    • Experience of HR system implementations specifically Workday
    • Able to work on both IT delivery and the business change management components of the implementation
    • Excellent communication skills in both a written and verbal capacity
    • Able to effectively manage both technical and business facing stakeholders
    • Able to travel to site 3 days a week – south Oxfordshire

      Are you a driven professional with solid lending product knowledge and a passion for ensuring robust controls and governance in financial products? Our client is looking for a Product Operational Controls Manager to lead the control framework for their Credit Cards and Loans portfolio.

      In this critical role, you will ensure that products operate within regulatory, operational, and financial standards, protecting both the business and customers.

      80% off your time will be spent on control operations with the other 20% on product management

      You should bring:

      • Lending knowledge with a preference in Cards & Loans
      • Strong capability within data analysis, process driven and strong excel skills
      • SAS, SQL experience would be highly advantageous
      • Strong communicator and can build good working relationships
      • This role would be suited to a Junior Product Analyst within lending looking to step up into a more strategic role or someone with prior operational controls experience within areas of lending.
