Procurement Manager

Remote (one day a fortnight in Guildford)

£60,000 + Package

We are partnered with a leading financial services organisation who are looking for a seasoned procurement professional to come and support their team on a interim basis.

In this role you’ll be supporting the development and implementation of the Marketing Category strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement initiatives, conducting tactical and strategic sourcing projects
  • Develop effective Business Partnering relationships
  • Conducting market analysis, tenders and contract negotiations with suppliers
  • Managing risk through robust due diligence practices
  • Delivering end-to-end commercial, contractual and relationship lifecycle value

Skills & Experience:


  • Demonstrable stakeholder management ability with the gravitas to interact and influence at senior level
  • Sourcing expertise and in-depth knowledge of the sourcing process
  • Knowledge of Contract Law
  • Proven ability to deliver substantial cost benefit
  • Strong negotiation skill set


  • Understanding of the Marketing landscape is advantageous
  • MCIPS or CIPS qualified.

    This is a BAU procurement role with some big tenders coming up requiring an experienced marketing procurement professional.

      IT Contracts and Vendor/Supplier Manager

      Home based role- x1 per month in London

      £55,000-£60,000 + 4.5% matched pension, 25 days holiday

      We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager or Vendor Manager. If you have previously worked within an IT and Technology domain then this would be advantageous, but is not essential.

      Working within our dedicated commercial management team and reporting in to the Head of Contracts and Commercial Management, you will manage a portfolio circa 20+ vendors providing goods and services across IT and Technology.

      Core elements of the role will include:

      • Develop and maintain partnering relationships
      • Carry out commercial contract reviews
      • Manage 3rd party service reviews and meetings with Technology vendors
      • Manage vendors against clear metrics/ KPI’s
      • Tracking of opex spend vs budget
      • Contribute towards competitive tendering processes with appropriate vendor evaluation/ selection criteria.

      • Significant previous experience of managing supplier relationships as a category/supplier manager, vendor manager or commercial contracts manager.

      • Understands broad concepts of gdpr compliance, liability caps and exclusion, modern slavery and anti-bribery.

          We are partnered with a leading global manufacturing firm who are looking for a Vendor manager to join their procurement team in Reading. This pivotal role will offer real autonomy to put your own stamp on procurement and vendor management across the UK.

          This position would require both a hands on and strategic character. There is a lot of work to be done in terms of defining the vendor landscape and consolidating and condensing their supplier footprint in order to drive value across their IT supply chain. You will have the opportunity to lead IT procurement across the UK and define how our client conducts their approach to supplier relationship management.
