Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading enterprise environment apart of the Infrastructure team responsible for ensuring that all environments are secure and reliable, supporting business-critical systems and services in line with defined policies, standards and SLAs.

This role will provide specialist Microsoft expertise, particularly across Azure and M365, to support a project team conducting detailed analysis and cost assessment for implementing and operating Microsoft Copilot (or similar AI-driven capabilities).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure enterprise infrastructure is available, secure and operating within agreed SLAs.

  • Maintain and improve Azure-based workloads and services, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and standards.

  • Provide technical leadership in the configuration, optimisation and governance of Microsoft 365 services.

  • Support the assessment and deployment planning of Microsoft Copilot and related technologies.

  • Manage and maintain identity and access solutions, including SSO identity providers (SAML2/OAuth2), especially within Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

  • Collaborate with project teams to design and document technical solutions, contributing to infrastructure roadmaps and cost models.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Minimum 3+ years’ hands-on Azure experience, building, managing and maintaining large-scale enterprise workloads.

  • Strong knowledge of M365 architecture, configuration and controls.

  • Proven experience maintaining SSO and identity management solutions (SAML2/OAuth2).

  • Deep understanding of Entra ID / Azure AD and associated identity security principles.

  • Excellent documentation, analysis and stakeholder engagement skills.

      Head of Technology/Tech Lead, Hybrid

      Tech Lead/Head of Technology

      Central London Engagement. 3 Days per week on site. 6 month initial engagement but 12 months.

      Technical Lead or Head of Infrastructure or Platform Lead but must have experience managing a Database team (SQL. Oracle etc). Must also have been involved in enterprise level integration projects.

      A strong technical background e.g. Windows/Unix or Storage / Database etc. – will then have moved into Managerial / Leadership role but close to the technology, know what good looks like and able to challenge at a senior level.

      Some experience in a Small / Medium sized organisations would be beneficial (because of the relevant pace of change). Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills essential.

      Third party / working with Offshore organisations.
