IT Change Enablement & Config Manager (ITIL v4), Hybrid

Our client, an industry leading and national business, is looking to hire a IT Change Enablement & Config Manager with a strong background in ITIL v4-aligned practices.

The successful candidate will have a background as a Change & Config Manager with strong expertise in ITIL v4-aligned practices, specifically Change Enablement and Configuration Management (CMDB).

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience as an IT Change Manager combined with proven capability in managing and maintaining a CMDB within enterprise ITSM toolsets.

Please note, engagement via Umbrella Company Only; all taxes & NI deducted at source.
Hybrid working – 3 days per week on site in Manchester.

General responsibilities:

  • Build and initiation of the Change Enablement process ensuring compliance with ITIL v4 best practice.
  • Build, initiation and maintenance of the CMDB ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Support rollout and adoption of new ITIL-aligned practices, including within Change Enablement and Config Management.
  • Provide guidance and training to colleagues on ITIL v4 principles and process adherence.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to assess and implement changes with minimal risk to business operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for ITSM processes and governance.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Change Manager in an ITIL-aligned environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing a CMDB within an ITSM toolset.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v4 practices and frameworks
  • ITIL v4 accreditation preferred.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, or rolling out new ITIL practices for Change Enablement or Configuration Management.
