    Our client, a reputable and leading UK business, is looking to hire a Senior Operational Resilience Specialist.

    The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our clients ability to withstand and recover from severe disruptions, in compliance with FCA SYSC 15A.2 and PRA SS1/21 requirements.

    Working collaboratively with both IT and Business Functions, this role supports the development, implementation, and continual improvement of resilience and continuity strategies across the organisation.

    The role holder will help to identify & reduce the risk from disaster events and plan for the recovery of services (including IT, Buildings & People). It will be the role holder’s input that ensures critical business functions can be resumed with as little impact as possible.

    General responsibilities: –

    • Support the Operational Resilience & BC Manager in the delivery of Business Continuity Management framework.
    • Administration of business continuity processes and best practices (aligned to BCI GPG V7.0)
    • Ensure suppliers align with PRA Outsourcing requirements relating to BC & Exit planning.
    • Maintain up-to-date plans and processes in an environment of constant change, including technology and application advances
    • Liaise with IT to ensure that a comprehensive IT Continuity Testing Plan is in place.
    • Support the Business & IT when invocation of continuity plans have occurred.
    • Provide reports on test results and other related issues to the BC Co-ordinator
    • Help develop BC awareness, training and communication activities across the business
    • Create and implement procedures as necessary to comply with the Group BC policy
    • Define and implement processes in line with legal and regulatory requirements.

    Skills & experience required: –

    • Operational Resilience & Business Continuity aligned to Regulatory guidelines & principles.
    • A general understanding of Business Continuity Management, planning & testing.
    • Demonstrable understanding of BCM Lifecycle

        Key Responsibilities

        • Provide technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Shopify platforms
