FPGA Design Engineer (Contract)
Rate: £450-£750/day DOE (Inside IR35)
Location: Derby (On site)
Contract Length: 6-month rolling (Multi-year project)

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking skilled FPGA Design Engineers to support high-integrity UK infrastructure and security programmes. These are long-term contract opportunities contributing to complex, safety-critical systems.

We are looking for engineers with a solid understanding of FPGA design and verification processes, ideally with experience delivering solutions from concept through to implementation and test. You’ll join a collaborative team working closely with end clients on national-level engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and verify FPGA solutions using VHDL.

  • Translate system-level requirements into robust, scalable FPGA architectures.

  • Perform synthesis, place and route, and timing closure to meet design constraints.

  • Develop testbenches, scripts, and supporting software to streamline the design lifecycle.

  • Debug and resolve technical issues in demanding environments.

  • Capture and refine technical requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of FPGA design principles and hardware development.

  • Proficiency in VHDL and associated simulation and synthesis tools.

  • Experience developing and testing complex digital architectures.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and liaise directly with clients.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

  • Scripting experience in TCL or Python for tool automation.

Additional Information:
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, successful candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance. Pre-employment screening will be required.

    Sanderson have partnered with a global giant within the consumer tech industry, they are looking for a Sr. Creative Video Producer to deliver world class video working closely alongside partners in design, editorial and production.

    This company’s deliverables range from short-form live-action work, social-style videos, and interviews to original conceptual features, AR captures, VFX projects and high-quality live action content that resonates with digital audiences – from initial concept through delivery.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead creative development for live action video content, from concept to delivery.
    • Collaborate with design, editorial, and post-production teams to bring ideas to life.
    • Write treatments, prepare decks, and help sell in concepts to internal stakeholders.
    • Manage productions end-to-end: pre-production, shoot, and post.
    • Build and oversee budgets, schedules, and vendor partnerships.
    • Direct interviews and oversee talent on set, working closely with directors, DOPs, and art departments.
    • Maintain creative consistency and excellence across all deliverables.
    • Align creative execution with strategic goals and digital best practices.
    • Communicate with international teams across time zones (APAC & US).

    What We’re Looking For

    • Relevant experience in live action content production (branded, broadcast, or high-end digital).
    • A strong creative sensibility paired with production expertise.
    • A reel or portfolio that shows diverse work – from brand storytelling to social video.
    • A deep network of trusted crew, directors, and vendors.
    • Excellent knowledge of production workflows, formats, and post/VFX integration.
    • Experience interviewing talent and working with on-screen contributors.
    • Strong organizational skills – able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
    • A collaborative spirit and the ability to lead with both creativity and clarity.
    • Up-to-date on industry trends, tools, and creative techniques.

      Experience Required :

      • Relevant experience working in a creative team, advertising agency or creative environment (producing graphics and motion).
      • Experience in visual storytelling through motion.
      • Strong design background and interests in current trends in both design and motion.
      • Expert experience in using After Effects, such as plug-ins, effects and expressions and how to use them across a range of motion deliverables.
      • Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products including After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
      • A good understanding of what makes excellent content across a mix of platforms.
      • Knowledge of MacOS and iOS, including software like Keynote and Final Cut Pro.
      • Work on tight schedules and work independently with excellent collaborative skills.

      Responsibilities:

      • Create best-in-class motion graphics and animation to promote stories.
      • The exploration phase of our projects is incredibly important, so this person will be required to take existing static design and experiment with a variety of creative ways they could be brought to life via motion.

        Technical Delivery Manager - Outside IR35

        We’re looking for a Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex software and infrastructure projects. You’ll create the right environment for multidisciplinary teams to thrive, ensuring smooth coordination between technology teams and stakeholders, and driving outcomes that align with business goals.

        IS IT ESSENTIAL YOU CURRENTLY HOLD AN NPPV3 AND AN SC CLEARANCE.

        This will be for 12 months, requiring travel to the London area, once per week.

        The rate will be circa £550 per day, Outside IR35.

        Key Responsibilities:

        • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver software and infrastructure projects on time and within budget

        • Oversee full project life cycle from planning to transition into live service

        • Manage risks, dependencies, and technical delivery time lines

        • Act as the bridge between technical teams and senior stakeholders

        • Champion Agile and continuous improvement across teams

        • Maintain accurate delivery records and governance reporting

        Essential Skills

        • 10+ years of experience with AWS

        • Hands-on experience using Git, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow

        • Proven background delivering digital projects within government, consultancy, or agency environments

        • Expertise in incident, problem, and change management

        • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills
