Leading business is looking to bring in a Data Engineer at this busy time to carry out the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of the data pipelines. This is a hands-on BAU role focused on ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of our data ecosystem, while also supporting small-scale change and enhancement projects.

You’ll work in an Agile environment alongside developers, analysts, and DevOps engineers, helping to identify and resolve issues, manage deployments, and continuously improve data processes across the Azure platform.

Skills/experience:

  • Proficient SQL is essential for data manipulation and query development
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.).
  • Experience developing pipelines, analytics platforms and / or data warehouses
  • Good understanding of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
  • Proven experience supporting data pipelines and ETL processes in production.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead data discovery, scanning, profiling, and classification activities.
    • Act as a bridge between technical data teams and business users to ensure mutual understanding and delivery of business needs.
