Sanderson are currently working with a client who are looking to develop their data engineering capability, this involves working on mission critical solutions that focuses on data services for their customers. You will be managing and developing data pipelines that transforms raw data, enabling downstream analytics.

You will be responsible for

  • Data pipeline development – Data ingestion and pipeline orchestration design and tooling.
  • Database schema design / database modelling
  • Data integration – Integrating and enriching data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and quality.
  • ETL processing design and coding – Extract transform and load processing
  • Maintain and develop existing architectural components
  • Work as part of an operational team investigating and diagnosing problems identified with integrated data.
  • Data security – Implementing data security measures to protect sensitive information.
  • Monitor and maintain – Monitor data systems for performance issues and make any necessary updates.

          Leading business is looking to bring in a Data Migration Analyst to support the migration of data from legacy source systems to a new target ERP platform. The role will play a key part in ensuring that data is accurately analysed, mapped, transformed, and validated as part of a broader systems modernisation programme. Working across business and technical teams, you will help translate legacy data structures into target system requirements, ensuring data integrity, quality, and traceability throughout the end-to-end migration lifecycle.

          Key Responsibilities

          • Support the migration of data from legacy source systems to a new target system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and business meaning is preserved
          • Analyse complex data sets within legacy systems to understand structure, content, and usage, particularly where documentation is limited
          • Interpret target system requirements and perform detailed source-to-target data mapping
          • Define and validate data transformations, calculations, and derivations required to align legacy data to the target model
          • Perform data profiling on source systems to identify data quality issues and support remediation activities

                  You’ll help us understand how data flows across these platforms, improve data quality and support the rollout of identity changes across multiple domains.

                  What You’ll Do

                  • Review identity data from end to end to make sure it’s accurate and complete.
                  • Identify any extra fields needed to support dynamic content mapping.
                  • Work with teams to understand data needs for employees and contractors
                  • Maintain and update PowerBI dashboards and database reports.
                  • Monitor data quality, spot issues early and recommend improvements.
                  • Document your findings and processes clearly.
                  • Provide engineering teams with data insights to help fix identity issues.

                  What You’ll Need

                  • Experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in identity & access or HR data.
                  • Strong PowerBI skills.
