Data Analyst – Identity & Access – Active Directory

Rate: £500 – £550 Inside IR35 (Total to umbrella)

Location: London (Three days a week on site)

Duration: 6 – 12 months

We’re looking for two Data Analysts to join our clients Identity & Access team. Your role will be to make sure identity data is accurate, consistent and easy to report on across systems such as MyHR, One Identity, Active Directory and Entra ID.

You’ll help us understand how data flows across these platforms, improve data quality and support the rollout of identity changes across multiple domains.

What You’ll Do

  • Review identity data from end to end to make sure it’s accurate and complete.
  • Identify any extra fields needed to support dynamic content mapping.
  • Work with teams to understand data needs for employees and contractors
  • Maintain and update PowerBI dashboards and database reports.
  • Monitor data quality, spot issues early and recommend improvements.
  • Document your findings and processes clearly.
  • Provide engineering teams with data insights to help fix identity issues.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in identity & access or HR data.
  • Strong PowerBI skills.
  • Solid SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
  • Understanding of data flows between HR systems, identity platforms and directory services.
  • Great attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph and working with APIs.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of identity & access management.
  • Experience working across multiple domains in a large organisation.
  • Awareness of data governance and compliance standards.

    Leading business is looking to bring in a Data Engineer to develop, maintain, and operate data-ingestion routines across the estate to create a single, trusted data source that supports a data-driven culture.

    Role:

    • Design and implement scalable, secure data-processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other Azure services.
    • Manage and optimize data storage solutions, including Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
    • Develop and maintain data models and overall data architecture to enable advanced analytics and business-intelligence reporting.
    • Ensure data quality and consistency through robust cleaning, transformation, and integration processes.
    • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve data-related issues within the Azure environment to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

    Skills/experience:

    • Good understanding of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
    • Proven experience supporting data pipelines and ETL processes in production.
    • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

            We’re looking for a Data Analyst who will be responsible for the in-depth analysis of finance data to identify key data and information issues, gaps and patterns across the core financial functions. The programme scope covers all core financial functions including Financial Accounting, Budget and Treasury, their inter-relationship and cross-functional processes such as Human Resources.

            The Finance Data Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders to understand issues and requirements and elicit and articulate the data and information requirements, and with IT Architecture and Data Management to understand and align with the Bank’s design principles. This role will also engage closely with Business Analysts and other programme team members across various stages of the programme as required.

            Skills and Experience:

            • 3+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting/insight role, preferably in finance data domain or ERP transformation programmes
            • Strong understanding of finance processes and data
            • Experience with SAP S/4HANA data structures and migration processes
            • Basic knowledge of data management capabilities particularly data governance and data quality
            • Basic knowledge of Agile project management methodology and artefact style such as user stories
            • Skilled in data analysis tools such as Informatica Analyst, Alteryx Designer, Python, R, Microsoft Excel VBA, SQL
            • Basic skill in using reporting tools such as Cognos Query Studio, Power BI and Tableau
