Senior Project Manager – 18 Month FTC

Northwest England (Hybrid)

Up to £70k

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic, high-performing team leading the charge on a major transformation. This is your chance to get in at the early stages of delivery – shaping the roadmap, influencing key decisions, and working with some of the most exciting names in tech and financial services.

You’ll take ownership of discovery-phase initiatives across Mortgages, Current Accounts, and Savings – bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to a complex landscape of change.

This is a role for someone who doesn’t just manage projects – you lead people, influence thinking, and bring others on the journey.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Leading high-impact projects from discovery to early delivery within a transformation programme
  • Partnering with 3rd parties to shape requirements and drive progress in early sprint cycles
  • Championing product rationalisation efforts across key retail banking areas – Mortgages, Current Accounts, Savings
  • Providing coaching and challenge around risk – helping SMEs and teams identify, understand, and manage business risks
  • Bringing clarity and cohesion to teams during complex delivery, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in the financial services product space
  • Strong, structured delivery skillset
  • Experience with 3rd party vendors and large transformation programmes
  • Familiarity with banking products – Mortgages, Current Accounts, and Savings highly desirable
  • Gravitas and energy to influence senior stakeholders and engage cross-functional teams

    We’re looking for multiple contract Business Analysts to support a high-impact insurance platform integration initiative.

      IT Business Analyst – Insurance Policy Admin System (PAS) Upgrade

      Our client, one of the UK’s leading insurance brokers have a requirement for an experienced IT Business Analyst to capture both the technical and business requirements for a business critical transformation project to upgrade one of the business’s policy administration systems (PAS). The current PAS platform is an in-house built application on legacy technology, with the business building a new bespoke PAS platform on new technology.

      This IT Business Analyst will be the bridge between the business and IT, and will join at the initiation phase of the project, working closely with the client’s in-house technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the new platform meets the business requirements. This BA will likely be engaged for the entirety of project, right through into business implementation / go-live of the new platform.

      Up to £500 per day – OUTSIDE IR35

      6 month initial contract (with scope for long term extensions)

      Hybrid working – 2 to 3 days a week onsite in the client’s office in the City of London

      Experience needed:

      • Strong previous IT Business Analysis experience
      • Extensive experience of capturing both technical and business requirements
      • Previous experience of working in the insurance industry, ideally within speciality insurance or broking
      • Previous experience of working on policy administration system (PAS) upgrade and / or PAS implementations
      • Previous experience of working with in-house technical teams
      • Exceptional business stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and be the bridge between the business and technical teams
      • Strong inter-personal and relationship building skills
