Support Technical Lead – AWS Cloud
£625/day (Inside IR35) | Hybrid (1 day per month in London)
Clearance: SC + BPSS + NPPV3 Eligible

Join a high-impact public sector project as a Support Technical Lead, providing expert guidance to Level 3 engineers in a secure AWS Cloud-based Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor technical support teams
• Align support operations with cloud best practices and platform strategy
• Drive continuous improvement in infrastructure and tooling

Must-Have Skills:

• AWS, Linux Administration, CloudFormation/Terraform
• Nginx, Packer, Git, Jira, Confluence
• Eligible for SC, BPSS, and NPPV3 clearance

Requirements:

• Kubernetes, Docker
• HashiCorp tools (Packer, Consul, Vault)

Desired Traits:

• Strong technical leadership
• Passion for technology and self-learning
• Team-oriented with initiative

Nice to Have:

• Broader networking knowledge
• Experience with CI/CD and agile environments
• Understanding of NFRs (cost, scalability, availability)
