Senior Procurement Manager
£70,000 – £80,000 + Bonus
Central Manchester (Hybrid working)
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement / Category Manager to join an ambitious growing financial services brand as they look to improve their end-to-end procurement process.
You’ll be centralising spend, helping onboard new procurement technology and oversee key third-party spend, managing supplier relationships and hitting key milestones along the procurement roadmap.
This role would suit a strong procurement generalist whose experience includes IT category management and has worked in mid-size firms or scale-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute complex tenders from RFI/RFP through to contract award
- Own full IT category management, including strategic sourcing and renewals
- Drive delivery across key non‑IT strategic categories
- Play a major role in achieving group‑wide procurement savings targets
- Rationalise the supply base and eliminate duplicated spend
- Build and manage high‑value supplier relationships
- Deliver key milestones from the Procurement Maturity Roadmap
- Support the Head of Procurement on priority projects and escalations
What You Bring
- Significant experience in the Procurement Space, ideally covering IT category management and with wider category experience (out 80/20 in this role)
- Expertise running complex end‑to‑end tenders and owning the process.
- Strong background in IT category management, sourcing, renewals, and negotiation
- Experience managing strategic suppliers.
- A track record of supply chain rationalisation and commercial optimisation
- Ideally, experience in a small or mid-size firm with a track-record of success working with senior department leaders
- Experience in a regulated or professional services environment would be beneficial
