Location: South West – Hybrid role
Contract: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

Are you a seasoned IT professional with a broad background across firewalls, networking, and server infrastructure? We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering robust, secure, and scalable IT solutions across our organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting and maintaining core infrastructure, including firewalls, servers, networking, and cloud platforms.

• Leading or contributing to infrastructure upgrade projects and security improvements.

• Providing escalation support and working collaboratively across teams to troubleshoot complex issues.

• Managing backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure business continuity.

• Monitoring system performance, availability, and reliability through industry-standard tools.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re after someone who brings hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies, including:

• Firewalls, network infrastructure, and VLAN management

• Windows Server and/or Linux administration

• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN

• Virtualisation (e.g. VMware vSphere)

• Cloud platforms: Azure and/or AWS

• Backup solutions (Veeam preferred)

• Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset
