The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared Data Project Manager to join a major government data environment, leading the delivery of a large, highly complex data project involving new technology.

This is a high-profile role requiring end-to-end ownership of delivery across multiple teams and suppliers. You will work collaboratively through Design, Analysis, Build and Test phases to ensure successful project outcomes within a highly governed environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead proposal writing and contribute to impact assessments for work packages and Statements of Work (SoW).

• Direct execution and implementation using Agile project management methodologies.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring strong delivery cadence.

• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.

• Ensure delivery aligns with governance and quality standards.

• Own and manage project budgets, forecasting, and change control.

• Coordinate delivery across internal teams and third-party suppliers.

• Drive stakeholder engagement and maintain strong working relationships.

• Provide leadership and motivation to multi-disciplinary teams.

• Forecast and manage resourcing requirements effectively.

• Support service transition from project delivery into live service.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong track record delivering large-scale IT/data projects, including integration across multiple delivery areas.

• Demonstrable experience managing complex risks and dependencies.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Commercial and financial management experience, including budget accountability.

• Proven leadership capability across multi-disciplinary teams.

• Experience delivering via Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).

• Hands-on experience with collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

• Experience transitioning large projects into live service.

• Active SC Clearance.

• Engagement Management certification (Level 1 preferred).

Desirable Experience

• Previous delivery experience within large government accounts.

• Experience supporting Bid and Sales teams.

• Professional Scrum Master or SAFe certification.

• Understanding of DevOps principles and building effective product/feature teams.
