Java Full Stack Engineer (SC Cleared/Eligible)

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll design and build modern digital services using Java and a range of front-end and cloud technologies. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using Java (Spring Boot).
• Build responsive front-end applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Use Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Collaborate in agile teams to deliver high-quality software aligned with business goals.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) or SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Understanding of accessibility standards and web development best practices.
• Bonus: Experience with C#, GOV.UK Design System, or integrating with LLMs (e.g., LangChain, Vercel AI).
