Business Analyst (Insurance) – Day‑Rate Contract

Locations: York, Bristol, London, Perth or Glasgow (hybrid)
Contract: 12 months | Multiple roles | Day rate: £450-£525 Inside IR35
Sector: Insurance | Programme: Integration following acquisition

About the role
We’re hiring experienced Business Analysts to support large‑scale integration and transformation across Personal Lines and Claims. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to map processes, shape data and technology change, and ensure delivery lands cleanly into the business.

Workstreams:

  • Claims & Personal Lines: BA support across core insurance processes and change initiatives.
  • Guidewire (Cloud): Analysis for upgrades/migrations; experience here is a strong plus.
  • GenAI – Next Best Action: Define use‑cases and requirements for decisioning in Claims.
  • Data Automation (Snowflake): Help migrate DLG data to Snowflake and streamline pipelines.
  • Big Data programmes: Personal Lines data, Claims data and PPUD initiatives.
  • Pricing: Process mapping; identifying synergies, systems thinking & mapping.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven Insurance background (General Insurance essential).
  • Strong BA toolkit: requirements, gap analysis, AS‑IS/TO‑BE, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, user stories/acceptance criteria.
  • Experience in one or more of: Guidewire Cloud, Claims, Personal Lines, Snowflake/data engineering, GenAI in Claims, Pricing change.
  • Curiosity for data science in the Claims space and the ability to translate complex data topics for business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working on integration programmes post‑acquisition.
