Full-Stack Software Engineer

£480/day Inside IR-35

Largely remote with potential on site presence in London

We’re looking for an engineer with strong practical experience across modern technologies. You should have intermediate to advanced hands‑on experience with React and TypeScript, Python, and a range of AWS services including Athena/Glue, DynamoDB, ECS, S3, Lambda, SQS, and Step Functions. Experience with automated testing frameworks for Python and JavaScript, as well as Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code, is important. Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence is expected.

Key technical strengths include:

• React and TypeScript
• Python
• AWS services (Athena/Glue, DynamoDB, ECS, S3, Lambda, SQS, Step Functions)
• Terraform
• Automated testing for Python and JavaScript

It’s also beneficial if you have experience with Cypress, GitHub Actions, or Splunk.

You’ll be a clear and confident communicator who works effectively with designers, product teams, testers, engineers, and external partners. You enjoy collaborating, contributing to shared goals, and supporting others. You bring a positive, proactive approach to team ceremonies and delivery activities, and you’re comfortable adapting to changing requirements or priorities.

We value people who are keen to learn and share knowledge through code reviews, pair programming, and community activities. You should have experience working within Agile practices, taking part in stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and show‑and‑tell sessions. You care about delivering high‑quality solutions, making sensible trade-offs, and managing technical debt thoughtfully. You stay informed about modern technologies and encourage the adoption of tools and practices that bring real value.
